Individual student registration

Open sign-upVisit the official website or download the I am Samarth app and tap Individual Sign up.

Enter your detailsFull name as per Aadhaar, mobile number, email ID and date of birth — then create a username and password.

Verify OTPAn OTP is sent to your registered mobile number. Verify it to proceed.

Pay ₹99Make the one-time registration payment of ₹99 to participate in the competition.

Add education & parent detailsFill in your education details and enter your parents' details to complete registration.

Save your credentialsLogin credentials are sent to your registered email and mobile (SMS). Keep them safe for the competition.

Note: A student can register either individually or through a school — not both. Individually-registered students are not eligible for institutional awards.

School / Institute registration

Institute Admin signs upThe Institute Admin registers on the I am Samarth app and enters the required institute details.

Verify OTP & log inVerify the OTP sent to the registered mobile, then log in using the shared credentials (email + SMS).

Add roles & schoolsAdd other roles and use Manage School to add schools. Then add Principal, Vice-Principal and School Admin.

School Admin adds membersThe School Admin adds Maths teachers of participating grades and all students of Grades 6th–10th.

Mandatory registrationsPrincipal, all Maths teachers of participating grades, and all students in available grades 6th–10th must be registered.

Award eligibility: a school qualifies for the Kapitthaka or Valabhī award only if at least 90% of students in each grade's division are registered.
