Terms & Conditions

1. Introduction

  1. Maths Genius Individual 2025 (“Competition”) is a national-level online competition Conducted and managed by “I am Samarth” powered by “Samarth Trust” (“Organiser.”), intended to assess the Minimum Numerical Skills (MNS) of students from Grade 6 to Grade 10 across Bharat.
  2. By registering for and/or participating in the Competition, the student (“Participant”) or their parents (“Parents”) acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions (“T&Cs”).

2. Eligibility & Registration Criteria

  1. Participation is open exclusively to students of Grades 6th to 10th enrolled in recognised schools in Bharat.
  2. Both Participant and Parents must be Bharat citizens.

3. Competition Format

  1. The Competition shall be conducted entirely online via the official “I am Samarth” website or mobile application.
  2. The Competition shall comprise three stages:
    1. Entry Stage
    2. Qualifying Stage (A1 Level to C2 Level)
    3. Final Stage (C3 Level)
  3. A Participant
    1. In A-Category, a participant must score at least 90% accuracy in 7 consecutive attempts at each level to qualify for the next level.
    2. In B-Category, a participant must score at least 95% accuracy in 7 consecutive attempts at each level to qualify for the next level.
    3. In C-Category, a participant must score 100% accuracy in 7 consecutive attempts at each level (C1 & C2) to qualify for the next level.
  4. A Participant shall be deemed to have successfully completed the Competition only upon securing 100% accuracy in the last seven (7) consecutive attempts of the C3 Level.
  5. Technical requirements are set forth in the official Device & Technology Requirement document. Participants shall ensure the use of a stable internet connection, updated device/software, and the latest version of the application.
  6. Disqualification shall occur if:
    1. A Participant uses calculators, AI tools, unauthorised websites, or external assistance.
    2. A Participant engages in misconduct, misrepresentation, or disputes beyond reason.
  7. The organiser shall not be held liable for interruptions caused by power failures, internet disruptions, device malfunctions, or other technical errors.

4. Awards & Recognition

  1. Awards shall be distributed strictly in accordance with the official Award Structure published by the organiser.
  2. Classification of Awards:
    1. National Level Awards – the National 1st Rank Award
    2. State Level Awards – Grade-wise Awards for each state for top 3 rankers
    3. District Level Awards – Grade-wise Awards for each district for top 5 rankers
    4. Consolation Awards – fixed awards for eligible Participants completing C3 Level within a maximum of 15 attempts
    5. Digital Certificates – participation certificates shall be issued to all Participants.
  3. Conditions for Awards:
    1. State Awards:
      • A minimum of fifty percent (50%) of the districts in the concerned state must participate, and each participating district shall have at least ten thousand (10,000) registered students from grades 6th to 10th.
      • In case of a Union Territory, a minimum of ten thousand (10,000) registered students from grades 6th to 10th shall be required.
    2. District Awards:
      • For any district to be eligible, the district must have at least ten thousand (10,000) registered students from grades 6th to 10th.
    3. Consolation Awards:
      • Only those Participants who successfully complete the C3 Level within a maximum of fifteen (15) attempts shall qualify for a Consolation Award.
  4. Ranking & Evaluation
    1. A Participant shall be eligible for ranking only upon achieving 100% accuracy in seven (7) consecutive attempts at the C3 Level.
    2. The ranking of eligible Participants shall be determined in the following order of priority:
      • Minimum time taken to complete the C3 Level.
      • Least number of attempts required to successfully complete the C3 Level.
  5. In the event of a tie, the Organiser reserves the right to apply additional tie-breaking measures, including but not limited to an additional test, the outcome of which shall be final and binding to all.
  6. All rankings shall be compiled, verified, and published by the Organiser, whose decision shall be final, conclusive, and binding on all Participants.
  7. Each Participant shall be entitled to only one award, the highest-level award for which the Participant qualifies.
  8. The subsequent award shall be conferred upon the next eligible Participant in the ranking order, as determined by the Organiser in accordance with the prescribed criteria.
  9. Award disbursement shall be subject to verification of the Participant’s identity, academic eligibility, and compliance with these T&Cs.
  10. Award money shall be disbursed to the Participant by issuing a cheque in the Participant’s name.
  11. All award money shall be subject to statutory deductions, including applicable taxes, as per prevailing laws and regulations.
  12. The Organiser reserves the right to conduct offline verification or tests prior to confirming the award recipients.

5. Code of Conduct

  1. Participants shall act with honesty, integrity, and good faith throughout the Competition.
  2. Parents are responsible for ensuring that Participants adhere to the rules and do not engage in misconduct.
  3. Any attempt to mislead, cheat, impersonate, manipulate results, or spread misinformation shall lead to disqualification and possible legal action.
  4. Participants shall not attempt to access the Competition from multiple devices using the same account, nor shall they switch to or access other applications, websites, or browser tabs while undertaking the test. Any such action shall result in the immediate termination of the test session, with the test being automatically submitted by the system. The Organiser shall not be held responsible for any loss of progress or scores resulting from such actions.

6. Limitation of Liability

  1. The Organiser, its affiliates, and representatives shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential loss, damage, or injury arising out of or in connection with participation in the Competition.
  2. The Organiser shall not be responsible for technical failures, server downtime, connectivity issues, or force majeure events that may impact participation.
  3. Participation in the Competition is undertaken solely at the risk of the Participant.

7. Dispute Resolution

  1. All decisions of the Organiser, including but not limited to those relating to eligibility, participation, ranking, and awards, shall be final and binding and shall not be subject to challenge.
  2. Any disputes arising under or in connection with these T&Cs shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts situated at Nashik, Maharashtra.

8. Amendments

  1. The Organiser reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to amend, modify, or cancel these T&Cs, the schedule, or the awards structure at any time, without prior notice.
  2.  Any such amendments shall be published on the official website https://iamsamarth.com/ and shall be deemed binding upon all Participants.
