Indian Council of Historical Research
The Indian Council of Historical Research (ICHR) is an autonomous body under the Ministry of Education, Government of India, that promotes and encourages objective, scientific research in Indian history.
In a letter dated 31 March 2026, ICHR joined Maths Genius 2026 as its National Heritage Partner. In its formal communication, the Council acknowledged the academic and cultural significance of the initiative and appreciated the effort to engage young minds in exploring India’s knowledge traditions.
A body under the Ministry of Education associating with the programme after institutional scrutiny is among the clearest available signals of the competition’s credibility.
