Maths Genius 2025
National Competition
Maths Genius is a National Competition for the assessment of Minimum Numerical Skills (MNS) for students in grades 6th to 10th!
Get ready for a fun and challenging experience. Competition will take place online from 11th July to 17th July 2025.
Improving accuracy and speed in solving arithmetic problems using Minimum Numerical Skills (MNS).
To make the students self-confident and ready for the Minimum Learning Ability (MLA) mathematics programme.
To build confidence and liking towards the mathematics subject and schooling.
To induce collaborative learning.
Appointments can only be booked for schools
- Registration Fee: ₹299 per student (Institutional only)
- Registration Process:
- Visit the website www.iamsamarth.com
- Click on “Institute Sign Up”.
- Institute Admin adds the schools.
- The school adds at least one teacher.
- The school downloads the bulk student template from the platform.
- The school fills in the mandatory fields for the student, such as name, class, email ID, and mobile number.
- School uploads the completed bulk template back to the platform.
- The system processes the data and generates student credentials (Username and Password).
- The school downloads the list of login credentials (Username and Password) and shares it with its Students via email and SMS.
- Students can log in through the App and/or website and start their test.
Device & Technology Requirement:
- A desktop or laptop with an internet connection through browser-based participation.
- Android phones/tablets & “I am Samarth” app downloaded from the Google Play Store.
- Apple phones/tablets & “I am Samarth” app downloaded from the Apple App Store.
Baseline Test:
- As per the entry test result, the test is to be conducted before the commencement of the MNS programme.
- Each test set contains 40 questions, which are based on numerical ability.
- Every question includes three sub-questions.
- Each question carries one mark (this one mark is awarded only if the three sub-questions are answered correctly).
- Every worksheet has unique questions.
- Initially, everyone takes the entry test and is assigned to the following levels:
- Level A: – A1, A2, A3
- Level B: – B1, B2, B3
- Level C: – C1, C2, C3
- Every sub-level includes seven tests.
- A participant must pass all seven tests consecutively with a minimum of 90% marks obtained to move to the next sublevel.

- Read Instructions Carefully – Review all guidelines and question formats before beginning. Always confirm details on the website www.iamsamarth.com.
- Secure Your Workspace – Choose a quiet, well-lit area free from distractions, and keep pens, rough paper, and your device fully charged.
- Keep Credentials Private – Store your Username and Password securely.
- Use your real name and correct contact information during registration.
- Compete fairly without seeking unauthorised help or using unfair means.
Don’t:
- Avoid waiting until the last minute to test your internet connection.
- Avoid sharing the Username & Password.
- Avoid sharing false rules, wrong timings, or unofficial updates with other students.
- Using a calculator might take up a lot of time, and that could lower your chances of winning.
FOR STUDENTS:
- Participation is required to be registered through institutional sign-up.
- Individual submissions will not qualify for awards.
- The non-refundable registration fee is a small investment in your experience! We’re excited to have you join us.
- Award details:
- 1st award is ₹1,00,001, 1-year school fee & 1-year of IaS app subscription.
- 2nd award is ₹75,001, 1-year school fee & 1-year of IaS app subscription.
- 3rd award is ₹51,001, 1-year school fee & 1-year of IaS app subscription.
- Winning students must provide a valid receipt for school fee payment to claim their award.
- The school fee & award amount will be given to the student by cheque.
- Only those who meet all criteria will be considered for awards.
- All decisions by the organizing committee about rankings and awards are final.
- Result Date: 21st July 2025, to be announced on www.iamsamarth.com
- Award Ceremony: Last week of July 2025
FOR SCHOOLS:
- Participation is through institutional sign-up only.
- Awards will be given to the Top 3 in each grade (6th to 10th), for a total of 15 awards.
- Winners are declared based on the highest score, the least time taken, and the fewest attempts.
- School rewards will be issued by cheque, payable only to the school’s official account.
- A school is rewarded if one student secures 1st rank in any grade (6th to 10th).
- The school with the national 1st-ranked student will be awarded as per the following slabs:
- Slab 1: 100–500 students – ₹1,00,000 for 1st rank (6th to 10th).
- Slab 2: 501–1000 students – ₹1,50,000 for 1st rank (6th to 10th).
- Slab 3: 1001–1500 students – ₹4,00,000 for 1st rank (6th to 10th).
- Slab 4: Over 1501 students – ₹5,00,000 for 1st rank (6th to 10th).
- If a student gets 1st rank but their school has fewer than 100 registered students, only the student is eligible for the award. The school will not receive the reward.

- Using a calculator might take up a lot of time, and that could lower your chances of winning.
- Students in the 6th to 10th grades are eligible for this competition.
- 3 awards for each grade, a total of 15 awards in all grade categories
- Award details:
- 1st award is a 3-year school fee & 1-year of IaS app subscription.
- 2nd award is a 2-year school fee & 1-year of IaS app subscription.
- 3rd award is a 1-year school fee & 1-year of IaS app subscription.
- Only institutional sign-up participation students are eligible for the award.
- The award will be deposited into the student’s bank account.
- The award ceremony will be held in the last week of July 2025.
- The school with the 1st-ranked student in any grade will receive the award, provided they fulfil the reward slab conditions listed below.
- Slab-1: 100–500 students get ₹1,00,000 for 1st rank (6th to 10th)
- Slab-2: 501–1000 students get ₹1,50,000 for 1st rank (6th to 10th)
- Slab-3: 1001–1500 students get ₹4,00,000 for 1st rank (6th to 10th)
- Slab-4: Over 1500 students get ₹5,00,000 for 1st rank (6th to 10th)
- Each school will receive a separate reward cheque for every 1st rank winner, even if several winners come from the same school! That’s an excellent way to celebrate their achievements!
- School rewards will be issued by cheque, payable only to the school’s official account.
- The names of winning students from your school will be showcased on the official website www.iamsamarth.com.
