Job Description:

We are looking for an efficient Human Resources Recruiter to undertake a variety of recruitment duties. You will be responsible for posting jobs, shortlisting and interviewing profiles/candidates. Your role, also, involves performing tasks with a focus to grow our company’s talent pipeline and improve our sourcing tactics.

Requirements

Proven experience as a recruiter or in a similar role

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Strong ability to build relationships and connect with people

Exceptional organisational and time management skills

Proficient in using applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other recruitment software

Strong decision-making and problem-solving abilities

Ability to handle multiple tasks and adapt to changing priorities

Responsibilities

Talent Acquisition:Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract qualified candidates. Utilise various sourcing methods, including job boards, social media, employee referrals, career fairs, and recruitment agencies

Job Posting and Advertising: Write and post job descriptions on various platforms.Ensure job advertisements are engaging and reach a broad audience

Screening and Shortlisting: Review resumes and applications to identify suitable candidates. Conduct initial phone screenings to assess candidates’ qualifications, experience, and cultural fit. Shortlist candidates for further interviews with hiring managers

Interview Coordination: Schedule and coordinate interviews between candidates and hiring managers. Prepare interview questions and evaluation forms. Conduct interviews, both individually and as part of a panel

Candidate Assessment: Administer and evaluate pre-employment tests and assessments. Check references and verify employment history and qualifications

Offer Management: Prepare and extend job offers to selected candidates. Negotiate salary and benefits packages. Ensure all necessary documentation is completed and filed

On-boarding: Coordinate the on-boarding process for new hires, including orientation and training sessions. Ensure a smooth transition for new employees into their roles

Employer Branding: Promote the organisation’s  brand to attract top talent. Participate in and organise career fairs and recruitment events

Relationship Management: Build and maintain relationships with potential candidates, recruitment agencies, and educational institutions. Maintain a network of industry contacts to help identify and source qualified candidates

Reporting and Analysis: Track and report on recruitment metrics to measure the effectiveness of recruitment strategies. Provide regular updates to management on the status of open positions and recruitment activities

Compliance: Ensure all recruitment activities comply with legal and regulatory requirements. Maintain confidentiality of all candidate and employee information
