Job Description
Manual tester provides expertise in the planning, constructing and execution of release tests and is responsible for applying business and functional knowledge to meet the team’s overall test objectives.
Requirements
- BE (IT, COM, E&Tc), MCS/MCA, BCS, BSC IT
- Having good knowledge in manual testing of web and mobile applications
- Good to have knowledge in writing test case documents and uncovers the bugs in software applications
- Should be familiar with testing tools and techniques with Agile Methodology, Software Development Life Cycle-SDLC and Software Testing Cycle STLC
- Critical thinking and communication skills
- Collaboration and teamwork
- Completed manual testing course is an added advantage
- Having knowledge in defect tracking tool (like JIRA) is an added advantage
Responsibilities
- Manage the functional testing and create detailed and well-structured test documents
- Write efficient and effective test cases and test scenarios based upon specification documents to understand the system
- Works together with development team to enhance and improve the application
- Participate in meeting and provide inputs on functional requirements
- Excellent communication and writing skills
