Job Description
We are looking for an efficient Human Resources Recruiter to undertake a variety of recruitment duties. You will be responsible for posting jobs, shortlisting and interviewing profiles/candidates. Your role, also, involves performing tasks with a focus to grow our company’s talent pipeline and improve our sourcing tactics.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a recruiter or in a similar role
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong ability to build relationships and connect with people
- Exceptional organisational and time management skills
- Proficient in using applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other recruitment software
- Strong decision-making and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and adapt to changing priorities
Responsibilities
- Talent Acquisition:Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract qualified candidates. Utilise various sourcing methods, including job boards, social media, employee referrals, career fairs, and recruitment agencies
- Job Posting and Advertising: Write and post job descriptions on various platforms.Ensure job advertisements are engaging and reach a broad audience
- Screening and Shortlisting: Review resumes and applications to identify suitable candidates. Conduct initial phone screenings to assess candidates’ qualifications, experience, and cultural fit. Shortlist candidates for further interviews with hiring managers
- Interview Coordination: Schedule and coordinate interviews between candidates and hiring managers. Prepare interview questions and evaluation forms. Conduct interviews, both individually and as part of a panel
- Candidate Assessment: Administer and evaluate pre-employment tests and assessments. Check references and verify employment history and qualifications
- Offer Management: Prepare and extend job offers to selected candidates. Negotiate salary and benefits packages. Ensure all necessary documentation is completed and filed
- On-boarding: Coordinate the on-boarding process for new hires, including orientation and training sessions. Ensure a smooth transition for new employees into their roles
- Employer Branding: Promote the organisation’s brand to attract top talent. Participate in and organise career fairs and recruitment events
- Relationship Management: Build and maintain relationships with potential candidates, recruitment agencies, and educational institutions. Maintain a network of industry contacts to help identify and source qualified candidates
- Reporting and Analysis:Track and report on recruitment metrics to measure the effectiveness of recruitment strategies. Provide regular updates to management on the status of open positions and recruitment activities
- Compliance: Ensure all recruitment activities comply with legal and regulatory requirements. Maintain confidentiality of all candidate and employee information
