This Privacy Policy applies to Samarth Trust. We understand the importance of maintaining your privacy and value your trust. It is our priority to ensure the safety and confidentiality of the personal information you provide. This Policy describes how we treat user information, and is protected within the ambit of “The Indian Contract Act, 1872” and “The Information Technology Act, 2000”.
The terms “we”, “us”, “our” and “Samarth” refer to Samarth Trust; “you” refers to the person visiting or using our website/app. Samarth Trust is registered under the Registration Act 1908 Sec 32-A in Gorakhpur, with its registered office at Rajendra Nagar (East), Near Bhagwati Chowk, Lachchipur Gorakhnath Road, Gorakhpur – 273015. I am Samarth is an app and a property of Samarth Trust.
A. Information we collect
- Contact information such as name, Aadhaar number, email, mobile/phone, address, city, state, pin code, country and IP address.
- Payment/billing information (billing name and address) when you buy a subscription. We never collect your card number or expiry — payments are processed by our partner (CCAvenue).
B. Cookies & web technologies
When you visit our website, you may be assigned a cookie (a small identifier text file). Declining cookies may limit access to some tools on our website.
C. Information you post
We may collect information you post in a public space on our website or on a third-party social media site belonging to Samarth Trust, along with demographic and usage information (IP address, browser, referring site, time spent, pages accessed, device/OS).
D. Data security
We adhere to administrative, technical and physical security procedures to protect the personal information provided to us. Only authorised employees may access personal information, and only for permitted professional functions.
E. Use of your personal information
- To provide the services you request and respond to your queries.
- To contact you, confirm purchases and send transactional communications.
- To improve and customise our products, analyse trends, and for security and permitted marketing purposes.
- We do not share, sell, rent or lease sensitive, confidential or personal information to third parties, except as disclosed in this Policy.
F. Sharing with third parties
We share information with vendors who provide services on our behalf (registration, payment and messaging processors), with event organisers/partners, and where required to comply with law or protect our rights. Some vendors may be located outside India.
G. Email opt-out
You can opt out of marketing emails by writing to info@iamsamarth.com (allow up to ten days to process). Transactional messages about your purchases will continue.
